Our Mission
Share Mexican history and culture with the Danbury community and the Greater Danbury Area. Educate people about history, fine arts, traditions, dances, music, food, and language. Provide lessons in Mexican dances, guitar playing, Mexican cuisine, and Spanish. Encourage and guide new Danburians in accessing community resources, schools, civic duties, and volunteer opportunities
Our Vision
Our vision is to acquire our own center to provide a space for the Mexican Cultural Center to host programs in dance, music, and the fine arts. We aim to create a safe environment for families of all ages, offering both youth and adult programs. Additionally, we seek to actively engage with our community and share our traditional fine arts with other areas of the state. We will build partnerships with community agencies and collaborate with organizations to strengthen our Danbury community.
We believe in the power of cultural education and its ability to bridge communities, celebrate diversity, and foster understanding.
